Rear caliper heat shield, goes between the pistons and the pad, not allowing heat transfer from the pad trough the pistons to the brake fluid.

Happens a lot especially on the newer LC bikes, the rear brake pedal becoming more spongy and losing, gradually, the rear braking force.

Comes in two flavors, the bigger one is for the newer LC bikes, the smaller one fits all 850/1100/1150/1200 rear caliper up to 2013.
