The BMW 1200 liquid cooled series of engines require some special BMW tools for general maintenance like valve adjustment, clutch swapping and gearbox removal and installation, for example for a burnt alternator swap.

These tools allow you to perform your own maintenance, with so many youtube tutorials at hand, nowadays.

Chose either the whole pack or just one of the tools from the dropdown menu.

The parts included replace these OEM parts:

• 83302327790 flywheel locking tool, both for TDC and BTC slots
• 83302327796 valve lobes locking tool
• 83302327797 improved clutch basket locking tool, teeth all the way instead of the OEM one
• 83300444292 Timing Chain Tensioner Assembly (It is used to place the correct tension on the timing chain before performing the cam alignment procedure (using the valve locking tool))

IMPORTANT!!! For the 83300444292 Timing Chain Tensioner Assembly – hand tighten it on the chain slider. DO NOT use a wrench/spanner on it! For the right hand side, leave a 10 mm gap between the brass part and the engine, since it does not protrude all the way in like on the left hand side.
